Dr. Marc Roux has been in practice as an orthopedic surgeon since August 2005. He decided to return to his hometown of Waxahachie following training in order to give back to a community that he dearly enjoys and loves. He’s raising a family of 5 in this wonderful community and has enjoyed his leadership roles in Ellis County. Dr. Roux takes pride in serving the student athletes of Waxahachie Independent School District as the team physician. He has many long term goals professionally to achieve in Ellis County centered upon delivering excellent care to patients with orthopedic ailments and preventing the need to travel to larger cities to achieve desired results. At the local facilities in Waxahachie, he’s able to treat many orthopedic injuries and chronic orthopedic illnesses with statistics showing top performance in the Baylor Health Care System with the added personalization and ease of follow up.

Dr. Roux’s philosophy on taking care of patients with orthopedic conditions stems from personal experience as well as from his professional education during training at a highly regarded facility in Scott and White Memorial Hospital. Each patient gets his undivided personal attention and deserves to be seen by the physician on each scheduled visit. He believes in personalized, comprehensive care centered on up to date technology and evidence based practices. He surrounds himself with employees that will care for you and continue with his philosophy of care. AOA only uses proven orthopedic implants and vendors for those implants in order to provide you with predicted outcomes based on his expertise in using those products. AOA’s outcomes are unmatched with low complication rates. He has confidence in putting his results against those in larger cities, and he has the added benefit of more personalized care delivery.
